Philippine Puto Bumbong Making Activities of Golden Brother Kaohsiung Office

In order to let the migrant workers can have proper leisure activities during their free hours, the Kaohsiung Brother of Kaohsiung Office invited Eileen Hsu, a Filipino resident coordinator, to hold a Philippine Puto Bumbong making activity on March 23 (Tuesday) and invite all migrant workers to participate in it.

Puto bumpong is similar to Taiwan's Mochi. It is made of glutinous rice and the biggest difference is that the Philippine style Puto Bumpong is usually mixed with purple practical pigment to make its appearance more delicious and attractive. In total, twenty four migrant workers participated along with another four staff of Golden Brother, including director and colleagues Tina Zhu, Huang Kelly, Zhu Jiawen, and Zhang Kim.  A total of nearly 50 boxes of Puto Bumbong were produced, and the activity ended perfectly in the atmosphere of laughter and pleasure.
