Golden Brother Holds Its Labor Management Meeting and EHS Meeting in April, 2021

Golden Brother today (April 20) held its Labor Management Meeting and EHS meeting to discuss major issues related to the company in these weeks.

 

In the labor management meeting, in addition to making relevant statements on routine matters, the members of EHS Committee are reminded to consult the actual injury situation at the first hand in view of the recent occupational disaster accidents, so as to effectively take care of the psychological level of employees and to avoid any possible misunderstandings.  In addition, in view of the severe water shortage situation, the chairman asked all members of the committee to inform our migrant workers to make joint efforts to cooperate with the government's policies so as to get through the difficulty due to water shortage.

 

Secondly, the committee members are also requested to give appropriate suggestions on the living habits of migrant workers, so as to reduce the amount of garbage and jointly maintain a clean living environment and to fulfill the social responsibilities of individuals and corporations.  At the end, according to the principle of regrouping and simplification, the performance indicators of this year for corporate social responsibility are readjusted to meet the requirements of external audit for the company.

 

In the EHS meeting, the number of the company's occupational safety and health business professionals, fire prevention management personnel and first aid personnel was carefully reviewed.  Meanwhile, colleagues were encouraged to strive for learning opportunities and obtain certificates, so as to work together for their own and the company's future and to gain the ability to further take care of their migrant lives and make Golden Brother become a happy living place for migrant workers.

 

At the same time,  under the condition of limited resources, the EHS meeting reiterated that in line with central and local government's water-saving policies, migrant workers should understand the difficulty and reality of water shortage during this period and the limited resources can only be dispatched through the logic of control and allocation so as to get through the water shortage period all together with mutual understanding and consensus.
