Golden Brother conducted its EHS meeting on Dec. 1 to go over related issues and review the EHS performance to pave a better way for the 2021.

The topics been addressed were as follows:
1, Planning the plans
Routinely, the EHS meeting shall examine the performance of each plans laid last year; however, due to the epidemic, the plans failed to achieve their targets.  Hence, in this EHS meeting, “Management Plan for Occupational Safety and Health”, “GB EHS Board Regulations”, “Execution plan for EHS training”, “Plan for Environment checking” were mentioned again in a serious way.  To ensure GB can lay down solid foundation for 2022, the EHS board requested Guess Chang to review those plans in details so as to start refresh for better result.  '
2. Garbage reduction and resource recycling
As the incinerator at Taoyuan is under maintenance, the capacity for incineration dropped substantially.  Besides, the epidemic concerns also made migrant workers to stay in dormitories that caused huge garbage and waste need to be processed.  As thus, the EHS board urged all branch offices need to promote the garbage reduction and resource recycling and made migrant workers understand the importance and positive impact of garbage classification and resource recycling to our environment so as to minimize the garbage and have more resources recycled.  
3, Internal website data input
The internal website will be launched on Dec. 1, 2021 and the data inputs need to get proper cooperation for our staff.  Consequently, the board members appointed the following staff to support the input of EHS data for our internal website: Louis Tian, Neo Zhong, Lem Jian, Ching Hwang, Angel Chiu, Aaron Chiou, Nana Pong, Ricky Hwang, and Simon Woo.  Above staff will help to support to input the EHS data into our internal website. 
4, KPI in 2021
The epidemic caused we failed to achieve the KPI targets.  The EHS board will conduct root cause analysis and risk analysis to find new EHS performance indexes for 2022.

EHS Chairman Mr. Lee reminded all members that the major task for EHS board was to ensure the safety of the working environment and the health of our staff.  Therefore, within our capability, we all should let our saff can sense the efforts we put into and get their willingness to cooperate with the EHS board to complete our mission.  In particular, for the EHS performance indexes, we should be very serious to have them completed, let us strive on as good as we can.

Furthermore, for the regulation checking, it is necessary to list what regulations been checked and how GB is going to respond to the revision of new regulations.  For those who need to get EHS certificates, secretary of EHS board need to review the overall status and let those in need of training to attend relative classes.

After the meeting, President Golden Li added a few remarks and mentioned that EHS issues can not be trivial.  Only with the good effort from EHS board and the contribution from our staff can make GB away for all kinds of risks.  The reset 4 targets for “zero tolerance”, particularly the occupation risk and the fire risk shall be taken care of at all times by everyone so as to let GB’s business have better chance for everlasting.
