2018 4th Quarter Labor & Management Meeting

Golden Brother and its affiliated companies conducted the Labor & Management Meeting on quarterly base to announce the latest changes of law and regulations.  The fourth Labor & Management meeting was conducted on Nov. 2, 2018 (Friday) and the key issue delivered includes the Labor Law Act changes regarding basic salary and also reiterated the company characteristics as Golden Brother needs to conform to the “8-week flexible working hour mechanism”.  Furthermore, the meeting also addressed the working schedule changes which will be effective Jan. 1, 2019 to let our staff can get back home earlier.

 

The term for some of management and labor representatives will be expired; therefore, it is necessary to appoint or elect the new representatives.  Among them, there were two management representatives and three labor representatives were appointed or elected in this meeting.  These representatives will function as the bridge for management and labor side.  President Golden Li particularly mentioned that all management representatives need to listen the messages of our staff carefyully and deliver them to him.

 

To address the concerns of social responsibilities, Golden Brother listed 15 Labor & Ethics performance indices related to CSR for the representatives to review and these indices will be incorporated into the ISO9001 management review mechanism.  Moreover, to ease the daily operations and guide the employee for company policies and code of conducts, Golden Brother will issue the Employee Guidebook and the GB’s Code of Conduct at end of Dec., 2018 if not earlier.  The guidebook and CoC will help to make Golden Brother a better company with solid rules and regulations to follow.
